Behind the Brush

My name is Maria, and I’m a miniature painter from Bavaria, Germany.

I’ve been painting miniatures as a hobby for a few years now, but before that, I spent many years drawing in graphite and occasionally working with other painting and drawing mediums.

I paint solely for display, and my focus is on the artistic side of miniature painting rather than gaming or tabletop. My inspiration comes from both classic and contemporary (portrait) painters, as well as the fantasy worlds and art of games like Skyrim, Diablo, The Witcher 3, and Baldur’s Gate 3.
